Understanding digital graphic design is a crucial skill for students following a variety of career paths, including web design, print and layout graphics, interior design, logo and branding, photography, app and game design and more. Students may be passionate about art, creativity, and collaboration in creating imaginative and artistic digital designs. I my digital art classes students are encouraged to unleash their creativity and critical thinking skills.
Digital Graphic Design and Web Design classes will satisfy a full-year Computer Elective.
Adobe Photoshop/Photoshop Elements may also satisfy a full-year high school Fine Art elective
Class Fee/Length/School Year - All of my Art and Art History classes are $25 per 90-minute class. A full-year class runs for 30 classes.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP /
PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS
Students in this class will unleash their creativity using Adobe Photoshop/Photoshop Elements! They will dive into the basics of these industry-standard digital design/image programs and discover how to master workflow, photo retouching, special effects, spot color, changing backgrounds, background effects, and other essential design tasks. As they progress, students will bring their own images and creations to life through numerous captivating projects.
Students will receive approximately 80 pages of invaluable reference sheets for future use.

Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. This software must be the full software version, not the “free app”.
DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGN
In the "Digital Graphic Design" class, students will explore the basics of the amazing world of Graphic Design. They will learn the elements of art, the basics of graphic design, the elements of branding, color schemes, type design, and more. Using their new skills, they will apply their creativity to various digital projects, including web and print projects> We will discuss the role of the graphic designer in numerous industries and learn to master a list of related vocabulary and terms.
Students will receive handouts for future reference. Weekly homework and tests will follow each set of skills mastered.

WEB DESIGN
Students will learn the basics of web design using a free, secure online platform. They will create a website based on their interests or business. The course will cover topics such as trends in web design, optimizing designs for different devices, and more."
Students will learn to create various forms for a website as well as logo and branding basics.
Students may use these skills to create a personal or business website, a blog or other web platoform.
